The Interior Design Show is hands down our favourite of any of the design fairs or trade shows in Toronto every year. We’ve attended IDS the last 4 years running and though we haven’t always talked about it here on the blog, if you’ve seen any of our past posts you know why we say it’s so much more than just another home show. 

Tonight things kick off with the opening night party which Kes & I will be attending. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend you check it out. Not only do you get to take in the show’s exhibitors, but you get to do it in a fun, party atmosphere, complete with an assortment of DJs. Of course it doesn’t hurt that you also get to partake in a few yummy eats & sip on some adult bevvies. You might even run into a few familiar faces from your favourite design shows! Can you say date night?!

Highlights:

There are so many exhibitors, show features & of course speakers that we’re excited to check out, but one of the thing’s we’re most looking forward to this year at IDS is Open Air – which is one of the show’s special features dedicated to landscape design & architecture.

Kes & I are currently planning our backyard project that we’ll be starting in the Spring so we’re hoping to get a few ideas.  Also – what better way to kick these winter blues than looking ahead to Spring and some incredible outdoor living space inspiration!
