It feels like its been a million years since my last blog post – and in blog terms it kinda has been. Sorry about that. But honestly, now that my hand is getting stronger, I’ve been way more motivated to be outside enjoying what little summer weather we’ve had, than being stuck underneath my laptop.
This weekend though, was Kash’s 4th birthday & I thought I’d share some of the fun we got up to – and a few of the DIY endeavours I managed to pull off (because I’m crazy & notorious for taking on waay too much and then forgoing sleep to complete them all, lol)!
So here we go…Kash’s Birthday weekend according to my iPhone…
Friday was Kash’s actual birthday, so Kes & I took the day off & headed up to St. Thomas ON, for ‘A Day Out With Thomas‘

Saturday was all about the Angry Birds birthday party…
Kashman is obsessed with Angry Birds right now, so naturally we decided to throw him an ‘Angry Birdday’ party. I knew I wanted to incorporate a couple of fun DIY projects so I took to Google & pinterest to see what a few other people had done with an Angry Birds theme. I was very quickly overwhelmed at the amazing things some people are able to do. Check out this incredible life sized Angry Birds game that Simply Styled Home created in their backyard!! I SOO would have loved to do something like this! Maybe next year when we actually have the backyard space..sigh…
Anyway – I the things I DID accomplish were…

Sunday Kash got to take the first ride on his brand new bike – an Angry Birds Space bike of course….lol

And we finished off the weekend with some fun at the park! I guess you could say he enjoyed it! 🙂
