It’s April!!! And after months of snow, ice and Polar Vortex temperatures, Mother Nature is finally giving us a bit of a reprive (knock on wood) from what felt like the longest. winter. ever! Oh – and let me take a minute to say thank you for the overwhelmingly positive emails, text messages & blog comments I received after my last post.  It’s funny how a public online meltdown always manages to provide the most reader engagement.  So thanks guys for allowing me to vent.  🙂

Now on to more pressing matters…

I’m super excited today because we’ve got a new project in the works!  (Well several actually. It’s true what they say, when it rains it pours. But more on that in future posts…)

TODAY I’m excited to announce that on April 8th, in honour of Spring, we’re teaming up with our fellow PARA Blog Crew members Mere & Sue from Newberry Sykes, Sabrina from Pink Little Notebook, Sara from Saige Wisdom, & Michelle from SweetSuite10, to bring you 5 fun paint projects!

You should know that, true to form, Kes & I waited until the last possible minute to figure out what we wanted to do for our ‘Spring Fever’ project.  I’m not really sure why we had such a hard time deciding – maybe the lack of spring weather had something to do with the delayed motivation.  Be that as it may, there’s nothing like an impending deadline to help you get your butt in gear!  Thankfully inspiration finally hit on the weekend, we got our paint order in & now its crunch time.

Oh yea –  I haven’t told you the best part yet…

Ok not the BEST part, but a pretty awesome part.  We’ll be giving you all a chance to get in on the ‘Spring Fever’ action!  For one week starting April 8th, all 5 of us will be hosting a joint link party for anyone who wants to share their spring paint projects!  Yes. You read that right – you’ve only got a week, so you’d better hurry up and get painting!

Speaking of paint projects – have you guys been following along with Creating With the Stars over at East Coast Creative??  Right now they’re on Round 2 & this week’s theme is – you guessed it – PAINT!  If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, head on over, vote for your favourite & be inspired.  And then once your mind is thoroughly blown, go work on a paint project of your own & come back next Tuesday to link up what you’ve done!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what the amazing PARA Blog Crew ladies have in store for us.  As for what Kes & I will be tackling – well you’ll have to come back next week for the big reveal to see for yourself!  😉
