Family room plans: One Room Challenge (Week 1)
It's that time of year again!! And no, I'm not referring to the season where we "pumpkin spice all the things" (although here in Canada it is that too). I'm referring to the time of year where bloggers from all over get just the kick in the pants they need to roll up their sleeves, get creative & come together to be inspired. It's One Room Challenge time!
ORC Week 2: Creating a Master Bath Retreat
We've made it to Week 2 of our One Room Challenge! There's nothing like a little time off work and a long weekend to give you the kick in the pants you need to get going on a reno project. Last week, Kes and I were fortunate enough to be able to take a few vacation days ahead of the Easter long weekend which made for a ton of progress on our space so far.
One Room Challenge Week 4: Choosing the right neutral
It's week 4 of our One Room Challlenge and we're very behind on our progress. If you read our last post you know all about our devastatingly huge little setback. Sadly we still don't have an update on that front but we're hoping to find a solution this weekend. Trying not to be discouraged though we're attempting to move forward and this week we're talking paint.
Gearing up for IDS 2014!
Happy Thursday!! Tonight kicks off this year's Interior Design Show in Toronto. If you've never been & you're in any way thinking of renovating, decorating or just in need of some inspiration, I HIGHLY recommend you check out IDS 2014 this weekend.
A little break from reality…
Well we've had a fantastic trip! We cruised around the Caribbean islands of St. Thomas USVI, Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts; celebrated a 35th anniversary, celebrated a 65th birthday, spent some quality time with family and most importantly, got some MUCH needed R&R! Not bad for 8 days huh?
